All parishioners are invited to participate in the Liturgical Ministries at Holy Trinity. The qualifications for these ministries are listed below. Training sessions are held during the Spring and Fall. EXPECTATIONS OF A EUCHARIST MINISTER |
EXPECTATIONS OF THE LECTOR A Roman Catholic who has received all the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist, who is at least sixteen years of age, and a registered parishioner of Holy Trinity Church. A person attempting to live in accord with the values of the Gospel and in accord with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. A person who regularly participates in the weekend worship of Holy Trinity Church and supports the parish Christian Stewardship Program with identifiable gifts. A person who is committed to growth in prayer and spiritual values through participation in an occasional retreat or Day of Prayer. A person willing to attend the initial certification sessions and continuing education and willing to accept periodic peer input and evaluation. A person who is willing to make a commitment of three years or until he/she moves or transfers membership to another parish. A person who will voluntarily resign from the ministry when his/her personal life decisions conflict with the positions of the teaching authority of the Catholic Church. |
